Working Principle
The working principle of socket weld is determined by socket structure and welding technique. The tube is inserted into the socket of the socket and is connected by welding. During the welding, the tube and the socket cover are heated so that they melt and fuse to form a closed tube system.
Features and Advantages
● Good Sealing: Socket Weld Tube Cover is attached to Tube by Welding Technique, which has good sealing property and can prevent Fluid Leakage.
● Easy installation: The socket structure makes installation more convenient and fast, which reduces the difficulty and cost of installation.
● Wide application: Socket weld covers are used in all kinds of materials and specifications, including high-pressure, high-temperature and corrosives.
● Strong connection: Welded joints are strong and durable, able to withstand high pressure and temperature variations.
Sizes and Specifications
Socket Weld Pipe Caps are generally customized to suit the requirements of the piping system. Common dimensions are 1/8 "4" (DN6DN100), with a pressure rating of 3000 lb (SCH80/XS), 6000 lb (SCH160), 9 000 lb (XXS), etc. As for the material, it is possible to use carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, super duplex steel, nickel base alloy and so on.
