The calculation formula for pipe fittings includes multiple types, and the calculation method for each type of pipe fitting is slightly different. The following are several common pipe fittings and their calculation formulas:
Bend:
Weight calculation formula: Bend weight=0.0387 x pipe outer diameter x bend thickness x (bend angle ÷ 180 × π) x (pipe length ÷ pipe outer diameter). Among them, the bending angle is measured in degrees, π is taken as 3.14, and the thickness of the bend needs to be calculated according to the specifications.
Size calculation formula: 1.5 times the center height of the elbow=diameter x 1.524, outer arc length=(center height+radius) x 3.14 x 2/360 x degrees, inner arc length=(center height radius) x 3.14 x 2/360 x degrees.

Three way and four way:
Weight calculation formula: Three way weight=0.00756 x outer diameter of pipe x total length x wall thickness, four way weight=0.01006 x outer diameter of pipe x total length x wall thickness. Among them, the total length refers to the sum of the lengths of tees or tees, and the wall thickness needs to be calculated according to the specifications.
Reducing tube:
Weight calculation formula: Weight of reducer=[(outer diameter of large pipe+outer diameter of small pipe) ÷ 2] × (length of large pipe+length of small pipe) × wall thickness × 0.02466. Among them, the wall thickness needs to be calculated according to the specifications.
Steel pipe:
Weight calculation formula: Steel pipe weight=(outer diameter - wall thickness) x wall thickness x 0.02466 x length. For example, a steel pipe with an outer diameter of 60mm and a wall thickness of 4mm weighs 5.52kg per meter.
