Structural Characteristics
● Bending radius: The center-to-face distance (i.e., bending radius) of a long radius elbow is usually 1.5 times the nominal pipe diameter (NPS) (also said to be 1.1/2 times), a design that helps the fluid maintain a stable flow rate and pressure during a turn.
● End design: To improve weld quality, the end of the elbow is usually turned into a bevel with an angle and edge for butt-welding connection to the pipe.

Application Scenario
● Petrochemical: In a petrochemical plant, the butt welded 90° long radius elbow is often used to alter the direction of the pipe, the branch of the pipe and the special connection.
● Power: In the power system, the elbow is also used to connect the pipes in different directions to make sure that the cooling water or other liquid flows smoothly.
● Other fields: In addition, butt-welding 90°long radius elbow is also widely used in medicine and health, aerospace, military, fire fighting, metallurgy, shipbuilding, gas, nuclear power and environmental protection and other high-pressure pipeline areas that require high pressure.
