Material and Standard
Butt welding Cap are made of carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steel. Carbon steel end caps are strong and fit for normal industry conditions; stainless steel end caps provide excellent corrosion resistance. As far as standards are concerned, they specify the dimensions, tolerances, materials, testing methods, and testing requirements for the end caps.
Structure and Features
1. Structure: Butt-welding end cover is generally circular in shape, and its connection face is level with the inner wall of tube to guarantee the sealing property. End caps are provided with welding bevels, which are convenient for butt welding and pipe connection.
2. Features:
● Good sealing property: Butt-welding end cap and tube are welded together to form a solid sealing structure to prevent the leakage of liquid.
● High Strength: End caps are made of high quality steel, strong and resilient, which can withstand more stress and shock.
● Corrosion-Resistant: Stainless and Alloy End Caps have excellent corrosion-resistant properties and can be used in corrosive media.
● Easy to install: the end cover and pipe joint is flexible and reliable, easy to install and maintain.

* Length E applies for W.T not exceeding the value given in the 4th column.
* Length E1 applies for W.T greater than that given in the 4th column for 24" and smaller.
For 26" and larger, length E1 can be applied under buyer's approval.
