Manufacturing Process
The manufacturing process of reducer tee mainly includes the following:

A metal billet, once heated to the appropriate temperature, is positioned within a mold and subjected to pressure-induced plastic deformation to attain the desired triangular shape. This technique employs tools like forging hammers or presses, which either strike or compress the billet to alter its dimensions and conform to the required contour. Forging methods are predominantly utilized for crafting mandrels with smaller diameters and thinner walls. The processes encompass butt welding and fillet welding, among others. Specifically, butt welding stands as a prevalent welding technique in the fabrication of reduction mandrels, ensuring a robust bond between the mandrel and the piping system. Throughout the welding procedure, rigorous control over welding parameters and techniques is paramount to guarantee weld quality and joint integrity.
Material and Standard
1. The materials used in the construction of bush-welded reducer profiles are typically stainless steel, alloy steel, carbon steel and many others. The exact choice of material depends on various factors related to the piping system, such as operating pressure, temperature, media type and other relevant factors. For example, in environments characterised by high pressure, high temperature or corrosive media, it is important to choose a material with excellent strength and corrosion resistance.
2. The manufacturing and inspection processes for bush welded reducing valves follow a comprehensive set of international and domestic standards, such as ASME/ANSI B16.9, ASME B16.28, MSS-SP-75 and GB/T12459, among others. These standards precisely define the specifications for size, wall thickness, tolerances, inspection methods and other critical requirements related to redundant parts.
Applications
Reducing tees are widely used in various industrial fields, such as petroleum, chemical industry, natural gas, electric power, heat, ships, urban engineering and so on. In these fields, Reducing Tee is used to connect pipeline systems with different diameters, to realize the function of medium diversion, merging and so on. At the same time, due to its structural characteristics, the reducer tee can also be used to regulate the flow and pressure distribution in the piping system.
