Structural Features
● Short radius design: Compared with long radius elbows, short radius elbows have a smaller bending radius, usually equal to the nominal diameter of the pipe. This makes the short radius elbow take up less space in the piping system, but accordingly, its medium flow resistance will be slightly larger.
● Butt welding connection: elbow and pipe connection using butt welding, with a solid connection, good sealing, high pressure capacity. At the same time, the butt welding connection is also easy to install and maintain.
1. 90°-LR.. = 1.1/2 x 2(NPS) x 25.4 A=76.2 mm
2. 180°-LR.. = 2 times the 90° LR elbow A=152.4 mm
3. 90°-SR.. = 2(NPS) x 25.4 A=50.8 mm
4. 180°-SR.. = 2 times the 90° SR elbow A=101.6 mm

Specifications and Standards
● Specifications: Buttwelding 180° SR Return specifications are usually expressed in terms of the nominal diameter of the pipe (DN) or inches (inch). Common specifications include DN15DN600 or 1/2inch24inch.
● Standards: Manufacturing and inspection of elbows usually follow national or industry standards, such as GB/T 12459, GB/T 13401, SH 3408, SH 3409, HG/T 21635, HG/T 21631, SY/T 0510, ASME B16.9, ASME B16.28 and so on. These standards specify the size of the elbow, tolerances, materials, test methods and other requirements.
Material Selection
The material of Buttwelding 180° SR Return is usually selected according to the usage environment and medium. Common materials include carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steel. For high temperature, high pressure or corrosive media and other harsh conditions, you need to choose the corresponding corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, high strength and other properties of the material.
